STROKE

Hi, my dear readers ♥

The thing I probably missed the most in Ingolstadt was art. There was an art gallery, but I never really visited it because...I don't know...it wasn't interresting at all... but here in Munich *o* we could go in galleries every weekend and won't manage to see everything !

The first art-related event we visited was STROKE. I saw a poster near our house, but what really convinced me to go there was a recommendation from owner of this tiny little PlazmaLab shop where I'm leaving my money everytime I step inside =D He told me that there will be various art groups presenting their works with PlazmaLab among them ♪ Sounds cool !

The even took place at Praterinsel, which is a small island on the river not far away from the city centre. There is a complex of old warehouses and a "city beach" bar...
Some rooms are quite small so it was a bit overcrowded, but still it was comfortable and works of featured art groups matched perfectly with the atmosphere of the place.

I was really happy that we gave it a try, because most of the works were exactly my kind of aesthetics ♥

♥ ♥ ♥ originals from Miss Van ♥ ♥ ♥ now that I think about it, maybe I should spent all my money and buy one ...??? I've been admiring her art for years !

 Satan !

Aperol Spritz is our tradition every time we go out =D

there were artist painting outside and this one with snakes was my favourite  ♥

Every artist had small prints for sale and there was also a Boesner room with a lot of art supplies ♪ here's my loot !

After we left the Praterinsel we strolled around a bit more, to explore new parts of Munich and found this amazing house covered in blooming Wisteria *o*
There was a cute French restaurant, so we decided have a Crème brûlée - it was absolutely delicious ♥

nom nom

Since I knew about this event thanks to PlazmaLab, I decided to wear the piece I bought there last time ♥
In this outfit I felt like a sith lord who went to see some art =D ha ha

DIY Elven Cape from an Old Bed Sheet + Burggrabenfest

Hi, my dear readers ♥

Rember the "Shawl from an old t-shirt" tutorial? At the same day I made one more thing, this time not from an old t-shirt, but from an old bed sheet ! Yay =D I love recycling old textiles !

I tie dyed it in the same colour as the t-shirt - I think it was just black, totally normal fabric dye from a craft store. After it got dry I had quite a big piece of nice thick fabric... so I looked through Pinterest for some inspiration and found this cool idea. I didn´t want to make a coat, just something shorter so I thought I might try to make a hood from the leftover fabric ...

This isn´t a tutorial, because I improvised with the sewing but I took a few photos of the progress and also wrote down the measurements ...so you can try it as well, if you want =)

here is my tie dyed bed sheet
it´s about 200x130 cm

this is how I cut it and prepared for sewing

hood

great idea how to make nice rounded cut-out
(from this tutorial)

Then I sew around the edges of the whole fabric, so it won´t shred - with overlock machine, or you can use zig-zag stitch on normal sewing machine =) After that I sew together those two parts where you can see the "sew" on the picture - to make sleeves.

Then I sew together the two parts of the hood and applied it on the neckline... ha ha this wasn´t as easy as I thought =D but I´m sure you can do it ! better than I did

TADAAAH !
finished - elven cape from a bed sheet !
perfect solution for all elves on budget =D

I made these earrings a while ago as well - DIY everything !

Fancy make-up after a while, so here´s a detail of my face =D

I wore this outfit for a medieval festival in Nürnberg which dissapointed me greatly =/ The ticket was quite expensive and there was nothing interresting inside for us... it was mostly for kids -_- So not only it was boring, with embarrasing "funny" performances and shops with just a cheap ugly stuff, but the worst thing was KIDS EVERYWHERE ! I have some serious problem with kids, I´m scared of them because I mostly hate them, they stink, they are loud and they are contagious eeek >_<

So we stayed at the festival just for an hour, had a cup of mead with sweet pretzel and got out. Luckily we decided to go there on Friday evening, so we didn´t kill the whole Saturday with this "amazing" event =D Wwe went to look around the town and discovered a super-cute medieval tavern *o* Inside it looked like in Skyrim, there were long tables full mostly with fantasy-fans or other pople like this ha ha =D we had a mead, beer and an Eintopf (it´s basically a pot full of cooked veggies) all served in nice ceramic dishes ♥ Much better than the festival !

On our way back we walked through the festival again - to take a look if it got better in the evening... it didn´t, but it looked nice =)

Have a beautiful day, everyone ♥

Mermaid Lounge

Hello, my dear readers ♥

A while ago I decided to spend some money and finally buy my dream leggins from Black Milk =D
I want almost all of their designs, but still it wasn´t hard to choose - I always wanted the original very first one and only "Galaxy Purple Leggins" and amazing "Mermaid Leggins" ...I also planned to buy the Slytherin ones from Harry Potter collection, but they are no longer available =(
if they ever have them again I will buy them even if it would cost my soul

I already have one pair of BM leggins which I bought a few years ago and ordered from Prague. The delivery to Czech Republic was really quick, but the communication with the Czech FedEx and the high price for their delivery was ugh... so I was really happy about how easy it was here in Germany ! The package arrived in a few days and I could pay the custom fee right at my door and get my leggins immediatelly *o* heaven ! (Normally I have to ride a bike for 40 minutes to get to custom office and then wait there another 40 minutes and then ride back again...and you know, this usually happens in rainy days, so I love it)

The quality of both leggins is great and the fabric structure of the Mermaid ones is just amazing ♥ You never really see all the glittering details on photos, but IRL they really look like if I just stepped out of the sea =D perfect for a party

Here is my very first outfit with the Mermaid ones - I had to wear them right away after I got them ♪ I really wanted to combine it with something sea/mermaid-related, but I don´t have anything yet...only my Bioshock tank top =D ha ha BUT IT´S A PERFECT MATCH !

tank top - Cherry Sauce (the shop exists no more)
necklace - made by Clover =)
leggins - Black Milk
shoes - H&M

Now that I´m looking at photos I´m not sure if black shoes weren´t better, but I really wanted to wear these, so whatever =D maybe next time !

Do you have any Black Milk dream items? I still have a few on my list - for example Slick Black Leggins will be definitelly in my next order fu fu

oh, and the picture !

Have a beautiful day, everyone ♥

Black Sabbath

Hi, my dear readers ♥

According to my outfit posts it may look that I wear only skirts and own absolutely no pants. But the truth is that ever since I moved to small town, started to travell everywhere with a bike and now that I go for a dog walks two times a day...I wear pants all the time =D
For a long time I was always telling everyone that I hate wearing pants, because they are so tight and uncomfortable. The reason for this resentment was that everyone around me was wearing either blue jeans or cargo pants - which are both totally ugly and uhhuuggghh >_<
But then the leggins trend appeared and I slowly started to actually like wearing pants... later I also discovered the magic of harem pants and now I don´t think they are a bad thing at all - BUT STILL NO CARGO PANTS AND TIGHT BLUE JEANS ! =D

Leggins are great, but when the weather gets chilly they are not as warm as you need. So I started to look for something thicker and decided to take a look in my favourite Chapati in Nürnberg and maybe buy a pair of winter harem pants...
...and after a few minutes I walked out with these amazing, warm, red, boyish, winter pants *o*

I like them so much ! They are so comfortable for travelling, bike and everyday wearing ♥
So this is basically what I am wearing the most of the time since I got them as a Christmas gift in December =)

The funny thing about this look is that appart from my pants and shoes all things I´m wearing are my boyfriend´s clothes =D He was cleaning up his wardrobe and I found some great pieces there !
The hat was one of my first knitted beanies, but it´s too big for him so I took it back. Over-sized grey cardigan is must-have in mori/strega wardrobe and the Black Sabbath t-shirt was my gift for him when we started dating, but it shrinked over the time so now it fits me perfectly =D I got quite a lot of band t-shirt like this, they always shrink so much !

I´m really happy about all of this, because I finally sorted out my wardrobe to that point that almost everything I wear is fair-trade, bio-cotton, handmade or recycled ♥
And you know what? Last month I collected totally full huge Ikea bag of clothes which I absolutely don´t need and gave them to an institution for drug addicts and homeless people =) I´m proud on myself, I have to say =D it felt great and now my wardrobe looks so much emptier !

In case you live in Prague and have the same problem with way too many clothes which are still in a good shape, but you don´t wear them anymore - tell me and I will give you contact for the institution - they will appreciate everything weareable. I used to throw all my unwanted clothes in those green containers, but then I found out that just a minimum goes to charity and most of the clothes are being washed and sold in huge second-hand stores ...

OK, stop talking for a while, here are some photos ! =D

Speaking about ethical fashion, in case you haven´t seen it yet - Norwegian TV Aftenposted did a great short (just 5 episodes) "reality-show" with three bloggers, who went to Cambodia to see where are their "sponsorship gifts" and other cheap clothing made
I already talked about it on tumblr and FB, because I think there is still sooooo many people who think this is all fake. That it´s just an urban legend their nice pretty clothes from sales were made by poor people who are starving and slowly dying while sewing it ... one of those people who don´t want to believe in it is, for example, my mum. Last time I was telling her not to buy things made in Bangladesh, she told me "That´s not true, you know ! It can´t be ! I don´t belive it and I will buy it anyway, I don´t have money to buy fair-trade clothing and I don´t have time to look at tags and search where it was made" ...and how about not buying it at all at the first place? Her wardrobe is already full of clothes which she doesn´t have time to wear... it´s like a sickness of modern age to buy clothes everytime we are sad or just bored. And we do so much damage by supporting all these brands ! I´ve been aware of what I´m buying for more than one and a half  year and it´s great - not only I saved a lot of money, did good things for other people and environment, but most importantly it feels so much better ! Helping and caring is actually great thing to do =D

What do you think about it? Would you like me to write more on this topic? Maybe some shopping guide and tips how to dress ethicaly? Tell me ♪

Have a beautiful day, everyone ♥
