Galaxy toasties, Make-up and Star Wars

Hi, my dear readers ♥

Today I want to talk about 4 things 

                                                                     ○ winter outfit

                                                                     ○ Black Milk toasties

                                                                     ○ make-up

                                                                     ○ Star Wars: Rogue One

Let's start with

○ winter outfit 

I would call this my "winter uniform" because I was dressed more or less like this everyday for all these long cold days during December/January. By more or less I mean that I changed the number of layers or the thickness of sweaters + I always had a coat and huge scarf, but that wasn't interresting for photos ...

As you probably noticed I bought a new pair of leggins with galaxy print, because

○ Black Milk toasties ♥

What's so special about these toasties? They're WARM ! There is a fluffy warm layer inside, which makes them the best winter pants I ever had ! Comfortable, pretty, great for bike, etc. ...all those leggins benefits, but now also wearable in winter time :D love it !

I plan to buy one more pair , but I'll have to wait for summer, because BlackMilk is from Australia and the winter collection comes out in the middle of European summer... 

○make-up

Look I'm actually wearing a real lipstick !

For the first time in my life I did a BIG ORDER of make-up, because one of my New Year's resolutions is to take better care of myself, use better cosmetics and feel/look pretty :D ha ha

Thanks to brand of eco-friendly bamboo pads I found out about Pink Panda which is an e-shop with cruelty free cosmetics AND they have crazy-coloured lipsticks - something I wanted for ages *o*

Of course my will wasn't strong enough to buy only pads and lipstick, so I ended up with box full of stuff... but I don't regret it - everything is great and I can really feel the difference between cheap drugstore cosmetics and actual brands
I've been using such a cosmetic crap all my life    

So far my favourite are both lipsticks from Milani ♥ I'll return for more to this brand for sure ♪

Also the "dazzle liner" in upper right corner is GOLD EYELINER and the shade is called Klimt and it's abstolutely amazing *o* (I wear it on the outfit photos)

And now the movie part of this post

○Star Wars: Rogue One

I had no idea what to expect from this movie, except that I already knew what's going to happen :D Trailers looked great and every oportunity to step back into galaxy far away is good for me, so I couldn't wait to see it !

ooooooooooh and I liked it a lot ♥

Much better and more mature that the Force Awakens, good action, great effects and cute characters ♪

Seriously, the group of main characters was so good, that I'm REALLY SAD that it was just for one movie T_T
Cassian Andor is definitelly my new Star Wars crush  ≧◉◡◉≦ ♥ that fur jacket !

...for those who don't want to think about the end of the movie (like me) I highly recommend hvitravn's art on instagram or on tumblr - she has some optimistic stuff there and the cutest pictures of Bodhi :3

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

 Hi, my dear readers ♥

I'm really late with this one, I know ...

As you probably noticed, in November something big happened for us potterheads ! It was a premiere of new movie from the world of Harry Potter, this time set in 1926 New York and following adventures of magizoologist and writer Newt Scamander (played by the cutest Eddie Redmayne ♥) 

I think you can imagine HOW DAMN MUCH I was looking forward to this ! I had actual tears in my eyes when the WB logo appeared on the screen =D

And I wasn't dissapointed... not a bit ... well maybe I'm not happy about cast of one particular character, but that's spoiler so I'll leave it for the next movie ♪

Anyway I really like all the characters, costumes, setting, beasts and most importantly the story ♥

Now I just CAN'T WAIT FOR APRIL when the BluRay comes out and I'm going to buy it right away so I can watch it again, and again, and again ... *o*

Everyone was going to cinema in groups, dressed up in Hogwarts house's school uniforms or cosplays and I am lucky to have friends here in Munich who were willing to do the same with me =D ha ha

We went to cinema in Hogwarts-inspired lolita outfits ...and of course I was Hufflepuff lolita !

I improvised a bit with the outfit - just put together something from my thin lolita wardrobe and my loot from WB Studios in London ♪

There are many things to buy as merchandise for this movie, but my absolute favourite is The Case of Beasts - a book which looks like Newt's case and it's full of interesting informations and facts about the film making, costumes, characters and there are also some additional things like flyers, Tina's ID or "wanted" posters of Newt and Tina ♥

And of course the combination of me being a knitter & Hufflepuff & Newt's fan escalated in a dire need of his scarf *_*

So I commissioned Han right after I got home from the cinema and now I'm ready to start knitting !

Malediction

Hello, my dear readers ♥

At the beginning of November I couldn´t resist and had to use one of these great sales at Society6 and bought myself two t-shirts from an amazing artist Canis Albus. I´ve been admiring her work for a while and when I saw how perfectly look her pictures as prints I just had to =D

I chose "Malediction" in tri-black and "Upotus" in tri-coffee

It took a while until they arrived, and I even had to pay for customs, BUT the quality is amazing, they fit perfectly and they are really comfortable to wear.

The t-shirts are sweatshop free and everything is made in USA

Today I want to show you an outfit with the "Malediction" one.

I would call it casual strega, or something like that =D

I wore it together with this super-comfy asymetrical skirt from H&M and the "Like a Little Knitted Notebook" shawl, which I made at the end of summer ♪

Beast !

This was also my outfit to see the new Star Wars movie *o*

(yeah, I know, it´s not SW-themedat all... but I don´t own any SW clothes...maybe my wedding dress would be nice, but a bit too much here in Ingolstadt where the cinema was half-empty...)

We saw it in 3D with original sound and whaaa =D

At first, when the movie was over I felt a bit dissapointed, because the story is just Episode IV in modern look and with new characters. But then, a few days later I re-watched Episode IV and when I saw all these funny old tricks and silly scenes I was really happy that they decided to do it like this... and of course, the more fanarts and little jokes about The Force Awakens I see, the more I like it <_<... so yeah, I´m fine with the movie, I like it, BB8 is adorable, Rey is cool, Finn is cute and Kylo Ren such a funny dark lord =D I really want to see it again and I´m already looking forward to the next movie *__*

Hungry Hobbit

Hi, my dear readers ♥

I´m back after Christmas and New Year´s Eve ! Hope you all had fun and enjoyed holidays =) I will talk more about my Christmas in a different post, because first I need to catch up (again) on those from 2015 ... 

So here´s my mori outfit from November. I don´t know how about you, but mori outfits with pants remind me of hobbits =D and that´s great ! I always wanted to do some hobbit-inspired outfit and now I´m finally starting to collect colourful clothes and waistcoats for it ♥ ho hoo

I dressed up like this to see the final Hunger Games movie. (I know it absolutely doesn´t match the mood of the movie, but so what ! I wanted to be a hobbit on that day !) I was sooooo loking forwad to it *o* And since I´m not the complaining type of fan - I wasn´t dissapointed ♥ I like all the movies and I love the books and I was so terrified to see the events from the last part of the third book alive on the silver screen >_< eeek ! But I survived pheew... unlike some of the characters... -_- (no spoilers !)

I wore my new super-cute necklace with toadstools from BakuForestStudios which I got as birthday gift from my dear lolita friends ♥

Speaking about hobbits and movies - I got the Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies Extended Edition for Christmas and (because I´m not the complaining type of fan) I LOVE IT ♥ It´s so much better than the cinema version ! I knoooow they changed the story, there is Tauriel and the romance with Kili and blah, blah, blah - but I take it like this - there´s the movie and there´s the book - two different things, I don´t compare them - I like both =)

... and since I haven´t found it under the Christmas tree (my wish was said too late, probably), right now I´m about to order the complete collection of HP movies MU HA HA

And how about you and movies? What was your favourite of the year? Mad Max? Star Wars? Hunger Games? Some super-hero stuff? Or something different? Art ? Document? Serie? Tell me, tell me - I´m curious about some interresting things to watch =)

I have to confess that this year I went to cinema only four times - to see the new Cinderella and Crimson Peak with lolitas, and then Hunger Games and Star Wars...

my favourite from these four were eh... I don´t know, I liked Hunger Games because I love the books and I liked Star Wars because I love Star Wars, so I don´t really have a clear opinion ha ha =D (I´m really bad movie critic, I know)

Crimson Peak

Hi, my dear readers ♥

In November, as a part of meet-up with Franconian Princesses, we went to cinema . And what else should we watch than Crimson Peak !

To match the movie, girls chose the dresscode to be gothic lolita. I haven´t wear this style for quite a while ! Even though I´m not goth anymore this one is still my favourite =) It looks elegant and not so extravagant as the other lolita styles ...

As soon as we met, we took a few photos in a park and then went to burger restaurant for a lunch and talk =) We had a reservation in Kuhmuhne which is a pretty cool hipster place with delicious burgers and cute drinking glasses =D

After we stuffed ourselves with burgers girls surprised me with a birthday present *o* I didn´t expect it all and I got such a beautiful gifts ♥ ♥ ♥ you are amazing !

After the lunch we were an hour early in the cinema, so we bought tickets, drinks, popcorn and continue in talking - no problem =D

Now a bit about the movie.

I was really looking forward to it every since I saw the first trailer in spring. Tom Hiddleston + Mia Wasikowska + Guillermo Del Toro all together ? This must be totally amazing ! Well, it was... visually at least. Everything and everyone in the movie looked beautiful, exactly my cup of tea, costumes were amazing, the house, the winter, the poor small dog  ... but ghosts ? ts ts ts ...it was so dissaponting for me to see the whole ghost right at the beginning of the movie - it spoiled the fun ! And it looked so... digital... so ghosts were kinda lame, but story ?? That was even worse ! I have to say that I discovered the story and the main plot right on the poster... I though "yeah, that´s for sure, but there will be something super-creepy going on in the house and they will be making meat pies from his wifes or I don´t know..." ...but they didn´t =/ I don´t want to write spoilers, so I will stop here, but huuuuuuuu whyyyy T_T I was looking forward to it SO MUCH ! Well... at least Tom Hiddleston was looking great as always, so I will probably watch it again =D It will be a great film for knitting !

I decided to wear my long black jsk with striped tights and faux-leather scarf to look at least a bit evil mu ha ha also I wanted something comfortable since I spent most of the day sitting and I really don´t like stuffing myself in the cinema seat with petticoat =D

Cinderella Meet-Up

Hi, my dear readers ♥

It´s been a while since the last time I had a chance to wear lolita - all these long months since Christmas meet-up in Prague ! Since that time I was always not in Germany or didn´t have time for the meet-up until March...finally !

No one knew how the weather will be, so girls made a plan to walk around Nürnberg, take some photos, have a lunch and then go to see the new Cinderella movie together.

I have to tell the truth that I´m not really interrested in Disney princesses and I would probably never watch this movie, but I wanted to meet with everyone again, so whatever =D !

We also got the chance to see the short Frozen Fever before the film started, which was really cute even though I didn´t like the original movie much =D Mainly because there is too many songs and I always feel this weird second-hand embarrasement when there are songs in movies....mostly in Disney movies ewww ...the only one which I can stand and I actually really like songs from, is Pocahontas =D

The movie itself was really fairy-tale-ish and childish. There died quite a lot of people, but it was so shallow....they probably didn´t want kids to be sad... But costumes were beautiful ! The dress princess had at the ball was waaah and Rob Stark as prince charming? he he not bad (...with Xaro Xhoan Daxos as his guard captain =D) ...(I´m currently re-watching Game of Thrones, so I just couldn´t not see it) I didn´t like Helena Bonham Carter as fairy godmother, because I´m really tired of her face and I think there could be someone more original and iterresting for this role =/ What I really like was the change of pumpkin and animals to all these fancy things which took Ciderella to ball =D aww

So if you like Disney princesses and shiny happy fairytales and Rob Stark go watch it and I´m sure you will like it =)

I will stay loyal to the beautiful czech version "Three wishes for Cinderella" which is the most beautiful fairytale ever and will always be !!! *_*

I´m such a movie critic ! Let´s better move to outfit photos ... ha ha

I tried to wear classic lolita with dreadlocks for the first time, because I really wanted to wear this fairy tale skirt, but really didn´t want to go to cinema with wig =D

And I like it ! Which is great, because I´m getting tired of wigs...the main reason is that my dreadlocks got too long to fit inside the wig without looking like and alien, or professor Quirrell ...

I put pearls in my dreadlocks to match the print on the skirt and I even bought a matching nail polish !!! Can you see it ?!! I´m surprising myself ! =D

Mockingjay

Hello, my dear readers ♥

I think I don´t have to tell you anymore how much and why I like The Hunger Games books and movies =D So let´s get straight to the point

... normal people are probably looking and Gale, but knitters have their eyes on THAT COWL !

It´s just great...weird, postapocalyptic, probably useless piece of knit, but I fell in love with it right at the cinema (and for the other knits in Catching Fire as well, but there are not patterns for them T_T) ♥

Right after the movie was out last year, patterns started to appear on Etsy like crazy... then Lionsgate found out and banned most of them because of the word "Katniss" or "Hunger Games" ....and sooo the pattern makers changed names and they are all back =D

But I´m really not the "online-patterns-buying person" so I always put it in favourites, but never really bough a one...

...and then...the new movie was getting closer and closer and I still didn´t have anything...and just as I was thinking about finally buying one I went to look at magazines in Kaufland (!) and found one crochet and one knitting magazine WITH THE PATTERN o___o

In the crochet magazine it was shamelessly called "Fashion from Panem" but in the knitting magazine it was just "bolero with turtleneck" and they made it in absolutely ugly green colour =D (they probably knew about the Lionsgate incident on Etsy ...)

And then it was quick...I already knew which yarn I will use, I bought needles and knitted day after day so I could make it for the premiere *__*

I was so fast, that it was finished almost month earlier =D And I´m absolutely satisfied with the result ! Not only it looks really good over a bikers jacket, but it´s also unexpectedly warm and cozy =3 Perfect for dog walks ♥

I used rounded knitting needles 80cm n.7 and 40cm n.6,5 and 4 skeins of Ökowolle from Wolle Roedel

...and these are my favourite pants at the moment - I wear them all the time and feel like Lara Croft =D

Speaking of dog walks ...this was the first time outside for our dear Satan =)

The fierce dog of Panem revolution !

I saw the new movie right on Friday and we were lucky that it was with original sound and not in 3D like everything in our local cinema =D whaaa and it was great ! There were some things I didn´t like...for example that not THAT much actually happened and now everything will be in the second part? It´s going to have 4 hours or what ? =D But still, IT WAS GREAT ! A lot of action, nice costumes, good actors and the song - THE SONG !

(I really wanted to put it at the end of the post, but German GEMA says no...)
