Bolero Mori

Hi, my dear readers ♥

Short outfit post again ♪
This time mori-kei after a while !

When we met with Rommily for a bit of shopping I used the opportunity of a nice spring day and no need for bike-friendly clothes to dress up in skirt and earth tones again. I miss wearing mori, but without proper mori pants I just can't wear it on a bike :D
(*writes on wishlist* Hobbit-like mori pants)

I couldn't wait to wear this "Shelob" bolero again ! I really like the brown, handspun naturally-dyed yarn I bought at medieval fair ♥ And it works so good with my new shawl pin !

Also this skirt is lying around in my wardrobe most of the time, because I really like how it looks, but I'm not so sure if I like how it looks on me ...I made it from IKEA fabric btw.

Unfortunatelly I forgot to take better photo of my socks, because I was wearing my steampunk over-knee socks from Ergi *o* (I finally decided to stop saving them for lolita coords, because I simply don't have anything steampunk-lolita in the same shade of brown)

As I said at the beginning, we went for just a bit of shopping - Rommily wanted to buy yarn for her new knitting project, so we stopped by at Die Mercerie (and I managed to walk away without buying anything !!!) and I needed to replenish my Yankee Candle stash :D
I love cinnamon-scented candles, but it feels a bit weird to burn them in May ... so I bought some more spring/summer fragrances ♪

I'm leaving for an adventure in Greece, so there will be one-week break from posts ♪

Have a beautiful day, everyone ♥

March Mori

Hi, my dear readers ♥

Today it's just a quick mori outfit post ♪

On one March Sunday we decided to visit greenhouse of Munich's botanical garden with Rommily, because it was the last day of butterfly "exhibition" - there should be hundreds of exotic butterflies flying around !

Unfortunatelly we weren't the only ones going there on the last day and as we arrived at the place there was an enormous line of people waiting to get inside... fuuu ain't nobody got time for that !

So we turned around, took the first tram in city centre and spent the afternoon in Café Mozart with strawberry mojito and talking about lolita fashion&knitting ♪

I planned my outfit for the greenhouse, so I wore my dear sprout beret and second-hand floral dress from Gudrun Sjoden... I looked a bit like a weirdo in the café, but I'm used to it :D

beret - TaoBao
scarf, dress - second-hand
brooch - DIY
cardigan, tights - C&A
shoes - Mustang

I hope you're all doing well ♥
Let's keep fingers crossed that the weather is going to get better soon ... !

CreativMesse München 2017

Hi, my dear readers ♥

In February we decided to visit CreativMesse (creative fair) in Munich together with Rommily and Mina :) We planned to go there last year already, but I was still living in Ingostadt back then and since we had no idea if it's good or bad, we somehow skipped it :D

But this year it's much closer to where I live, so I decided that we will give it a try. The entry wasn't expensive and at least we had a reason to meet :)

As I said we had no idea what to expect... is there going to be something for sale? Or just people showing their creations? Or only these funny-looking workshops (like "making of müsli spoons from clay" ?!! :D) ...and the most important question IS THERE GOING TO BE YARN FOR SALE ?
Just to be sure, we took enough money with us...

AND WE DID THE RIGHT THING

whoa ! There was so many great things to buy *o*
At the beginning we were like "well, maybe later, I'll come back for this" and then it was only "OK, buying this and that and this one too !"

The place was really nice, huge with good light and fresh air and everyone was so kind ! It was great to be among the same crafting freaks like me :D

Surely the best were stands with yarn, one in particual - Tausendschön - which had AMAZING HAND-DYED YARN and we kinda left most of our money there :D ha ha

Just look at this ♥

(the sticker says "knitting is the new yoga")

I was taking photos just with my phone, so they're not the best quality, but at least you can see the atmosphere and some interesting things I found there ♪

 knitting grandpa !

THERE WAS SO MANY AMAZING FABRICS

... and so many stamps !
But I forgot to take photo of my favourite shop T_T

GLUTEN FREE NOMS ♥

Of course I had to dress up a bit :)
I think mori with hand-knitted scarf fits quite well in the crafting enviroment.

(I got a new tattoo and it grew much bigger since February ♪)

AND MY LOOT !

yarn from Tausendschön, KnitPro shawl pin and funny knitting postcards ♥

I'm already working on shawl from the "blueberry yogurt" one and the mint green

beautiful pendants from cute stand from Holland

Hand Letterning excercise book from Frau Annika - I'll finally learn it !

The cutest stamps from Sommerabend ♥
the owner is super-kind young woman who is making all these tiny little stamps on her own ! Everything is hand-carved and designed by her *o*
I came back for more stamps when we were leaving and I got one as gift, because I was returning customer :D I got these which you can see on the business card - epic fail (for my art :D), toadstool, acorn, sewing "handgemach" machine, teapot and the little heart

I also bought a pack full of gifts for Han, but she already has them in her possession so you'll have check her Instagram to see it ;)

Have a beautiful day, everyone ♥

Hufflepuff Scarf, Project Peace & Mori Mittens

Hi, my dear readers ♥

In the past half a year I made a few smaller knitting projects, which I never posted here - mostly because I forgot to take photos of it, or I did and forget about them or because writting a post about only one of these projects would be too little.

So today I will show you all three of them !

Let's start with the one I made at the end of August (ehm)
Luxurious, smaller, lace version of Hufflepuff scarf which I made to take with me to London and warm my neck on plane :)
I also had big plans how we will take some amazing HP-themed photos of it in London, but then I was too busy being happy that I completely forgot about it :D But I was wearing the shawl most of the time there, ocasionally switching with the original one ♪

Why is it luxurious? Because I bought some pretty cools yarns for it !
Mustard and grey are amazingly soft Canopy from The Fibre Company and black parts were done with the softest Angora Haze from Rowan *o*
I think that I don't even have to tell you how comfy and warm the shawl is !
Can't wait to wear it again in spring ♪

I used pattern Lady Fern from Suzanne Middlebrooks as reference for the lace parts ♥

The second small project is from december.
Lovely "Project Peace" peace-along was a knit along organized by  Christina Campbell alias www.thehealthyknitter.com
Everyone was knitting the same, easy cowl pattern, but only a two rows a day :) and with each day Christina Campbell released on her blog a tip how to be peaceful ♪ I think it's a really beautiful idea, so I joined even though I didn't have any fancy yarn at the moment. At least I finally used this old "fox" one which I bought ages ago in Prague and it's of course a nasty acrylic, but still cute  :)

I ended up wearing this unexpected infinity shawl quite a lot in winter and now I wear it at home, because I need to keep my neck warm, otherwise I'll get a back pain or headaches from sitting at sewing maching or drawing table for too long ...

pattern Project Peace on Ravelry - definitelly something for beginners ! It's easy, quick and you don't need a lot of yarn for it ♪

And the third small project is just a few weeks old.
Mori fingerless mittens from a super-warm virgin wool which Rommily bought me in Austria ♥
After the long winter all my mittens and fingerless gloves started to look terrible, so I decided to make a new pair.
Well... I wore them once... since then it was too warm for them :D ha ha

I used pattern "Ah Caramel" from Tanis Lavallee and altered it a bit for the thicker yarn.

Building Blocks shawl ○ DIY skirt ○ faux fur vest from C&A ○ beret from TaoBao

I hope the really warm spring will start soon, I can't wait to see the first leaves and leave my jacket at home *o*

Have a beautiful day, everyone ♥

Light Mori

Hi, my dear readers ♥

At the end of October my dear friend Rommily celebrated her birthday and invited us over for ramen,  delicious cakes, Bollywood movie and a lot of lolita talk ♥
Since I knew we will be sitting and eating most of the time I didn't want to wear petticoat or any fancy lolita dress.
Instead I dressed up in mori, a bit more fancier than usual ♪

Light colours, flower headband and white shoes are something I unfortunatelly don't have a chance to wear very often ...

headband, necklace, crochet shawl, skirt - DIY

Even though it was Rommily's birthday party, Vanilla surprised me with gift as well *o*
I got A HUGE package full of yarn, crochet hooks, Harry Potter socks and also delicious fruit wine from medieval fair ♥

I already bought more of the mustard yarn for cardigan,  I plan to knit fingerless gloves from the natural ones and hmm maybe hat or headband from the blue ones and violet one... so many possibilities *o*

I hope you're not stressed out from Christmas !
I always think about gifts in advance and then I just go and buy everything planned, no stressful improvisations =D I already sent out all gift for my distant friends, I got everything for Honza and mum... now just a gift for granma remains usolved - the hardest part =D

I also visited Christmas lolita meet-up in Nürnberg and went to Christmas markets in Munich many times already, so I'm in quite a holiday mood ♪ ♫ ♪
