Mabon

Mabon is a feast to celebrate the second harvest and it takes place around the autumn equinox. A day when the light and dark of the day are in balance and most importantly - the start of autumn ♪

This year it was at the weekend - and that´s perfect because we could celebrate it together with my boyfriend !

We went shopping in the morning and bought a lot of autumn vegetables from which we made a delicious lunch - we baked it all together with goat cheese and ate it with an onion bread nom nom. Also we bought some cute beverages like a wine called "The White Wolf" and a "viking-approved" mead =D

I took some photos of it in the autumn sunlight, but that wasn´t the main thing I wanted to take photos of. It was my new absolutely beautiful box with incense sticks from Nebenwelt, which was a birthday gift from my bf <3 it´s so pretty and the incense smells so nice !

Then we went for a bike ride around the nearby lake. It was such beautiful weather ! We feed some ducks that we met on the shore, spent a while in a little forest ZOO and then had a snack on the grass - probably the last picnic of the year T_T

After we got home I decorated my altar, we burned a lot of candles, incenses, drank mead...and played Portal 2 =D

It was a really beautiful day and celebration of the upcomming autumn.

I hope it will be sunny, pretty, colourful...and it will last until spring <_<
